About Marc

Marc Briggs is a writer, an editor, a bookseller, a bartender, and a former college literature and writing instructor. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Occidental College and a Master’s from the University of New Mexico. He spent 25 years at podiums in college classrooms, emphasizing and perfecting the art of reading the beautiful English language aloud for well-engaged student audiences.

Marc has long been highly skilled in handling complex technical and industry-specific language, including medical language, making it smoothly accessible to listeners. He grew up with medical parents and counts many physicians and professors as relatives and longtime friends.
